This is the Dove: A 400 sq foot EcoNest home I’ve enjoyed living in since 2019. When Robert suggested ‘a wing’ on the Dove for storage, I was ecstatic. Can anyone ever have enough storage space? The result: The home became optimally organized; essentials out of sight, creating a relaxing clutter-free environment. The new storage area holds a great number of household items that are easily accessible. We share this storage project in hopes you get inspired to create your own! Especially for those of you who live in a smaller home.
A foundation was laid along a recessed portion of the west wall and using Doug Fir posts and beams, two storage areas were constructed with a walkway in between. The storage area was complete with a clear corrugated roof, siding and a locking gate.
