You will learn :

  • Wood selection - correct orientation, maximizing strength and best expression 

  • Shop drawings - EcoNest timber frame grid system and joinery details

  • Layout - precision and accuracy 

  • Joinery - fabricating mortise and tenon joinery with hand and power tools

  • Sharpening - Japanese water stones, gain proficiency in giving your chisels, slicks and planes a supreme cutting edge

  • Assembly - mate and peg joints into bents and walls

  • Raising - erect and tune a timber frame 

*Please note: Suggested Tool Investment $300-$400. You will receive a detailed list of required tools upon registration.
